Abstract

The aim of this Community Empowerment Program (PKM) is to provide education on preventing stunting. The method applied is active participation, including field observations, problem identification, program planning, and implementation. The primary focus of this activity is the prevention and management of stunting through the provision of nutritious food and nutrition education to the community. The main targets of this program are children experiencing stunting, pregnant women, and adolescents. The program aims to improve the nutritional status of children, ensure optimal nutrient intake for pregnant women, and provide education on healthy eating patterns for adolescents. Results show that the number of stunted children in Salukaia Village reached 18 individuals, with the main causes including poor environmental hygiene, inadequate food availability, economic issues, and low community participation in counseling. This program is expected to reduce stunting rates through a holistic approach that includes direct intervention and sustainable education.
